Who is responsible for your data

candyshortsai.net is published by the Candy Shorts AI Guide editorial team, which you can reach at editor@candyshortsai.net. The site is independent of Candy AI and its operator, which run candy.ai and Candy Shorts under their own privacy notice. The moment you follow a link from this site to the platform, that notice governs what happens next, not this one. This policy describes only what this site does, and as of September 2026 the site is a static editorial publication with no user accounts, no comment system and no forms.

Data stored in your browser

• Age confirmation. When you confirm that you are an adult, the site saves a single flag in your browser’s local storage so the age gate does not reappear on every visit. The flag contains no identifying information and is never sent to our server.
• Analytics choice. If analytics are ever enabled, a banner will ask for your consent and your answer will be stored the same way. At the time of writing, September 2026, there is no analytics tool and therefore no banner.

Both values live only in your browser. You can delete them at any time by clearing site data for candyshortsai.net, after which the age gate simply appears again on your next visit.

Server access logs

Like every website, ours runs on a web server that writes standard access logs: the URL you requested, a timestamp, the response status code, the referrer, the user-agent string your browser sends, and your IP address. If you write to editor@candyshortsai.net, your message and email address are kept for as long as it takes to reply and to document corrections and rights notices, then deleted. We do not add correspondents to any mailing list, and there is no newsletter.

Your privacy rights
