An overnight ride in a shared cabin

You have been booked into Compartment 12 for a single night on a sleeper train, and the other two berths belong to your boss and his wife. He drops off early in the lower bunk. She stays awake, and over the course of the trip she is the one who keeps closing the space between you, while one condition holds from start to finish: nobody can be caught.

The poster adds a three-word instruction, call her ma’am, which tells you who outranks whom before the first scene starts. Every move is weighed against the chance of waking the man a few feet away, so progress is slow and deliberate. The journey also sets a firm limit, since whatever happens has to be over before the train pulls in at dawn.

The three passengers

There are three roles: the wife, who sets the pace; your boss, asleep for most of the run; and you, the junior colleague the story speaks to directly. Why a train cabin changes everything

Most titles in the catalog are set in a house, where people can leave a room or shut a door. A sleeper berth removes both escape routes: the space is tiny, shared and moving, so being close is the plot itself rather than the backdrop.
